Curso de Introduçao as Agroflorestas
em Portalegre
Juntem-se a nós para dois dias de aprendizagem teórica e prática de Bosque Comestível com Hélder Valente e Ana Mouga (@artandpermaculture) sobre como podemos tornar um terreno de pastagem num bosque comestível que nos alimentará e a gerações futuras!
No Sábado dia 21 iniciamos a Primavera com noções teóricas de agrofloresta, solo, água e sectores e uma visita ao terreno para logo criarmos o nosso design em conjunto.
No Domingo 22 poremos mãos à obra para plantar árvores e arbustos e semear muitas outras plantas e flores. E celebraremos no final!

Join us for two days of theoretical and practical learning about Food Forest with Hélder Valente (https://www.newschoolpermaculture.courses and naturemagic.eu) and Ana Mouga (@artandpermaculture) on how we can transform pastureland into an edible forest that will feed us and future generations!
On Saturday the 21st, we begin Spring with theoretical notions of agroforestry, soil, water, and sectors, followed by a site visit to then create our design together.
On Sunday the 22nd, we'll get our hands dirty planting trees and shrubs and sowing many other plants and flowers. And we'll celebrate at the end!
Schedule - 9:30 am to 1 pm and 2:30 pm to 6 pm.

About the Facilitators
Helder Valente is a highly respected permaculture designer and educator, with decades of experience working in diverse climates and learning from pioneers such as Bill Mollison, Geoff Lawton, and Rosemary Morrow. As the founder of the New School Permaculture, Helder has been teaching Permaculture Design Courses (PDCs) and forest courses around the world. Born and raised in rural Portugal, not far from Vale Ondula, Helder brings a wealth of local expertise and a lifetime of connection to nature
Ana Mouga - Artist (painter) and Permaculture practitioner from Portugal, Ana joins Permaculture and the arts in ways that help us better observe the more-than-human world which we commonly call Nature, to which we humans also belong. Ana has been developing People Care based practices like Cultural Emergence and The Work that Reconnects under the guidance of Joanna Crowson, Looby Macnamara, Jon Young, Delvin Solkinson, Tom Henfrey and many others. Recently trained as an Ecoprise designer.
