What in the World is a Staff Connection?
After many combined decades of helplessly giving away up to half of our pay to a middleman, we have decided not to find a new job, but to transform the industry.
After researching p2p economics, gift economics, disintermediation and other vague but interest-peaking topics, we decided we could become a much better mediator.
SCTO is many things, but most importantly:
- an online p2p professional network that connects staff with various employers
- a catalyst for integrity via fair wages, an experienced and hard work ethic, protection, benefits, and participation in the gift economy
- a non-for-profit network that cycles revenues back to the staff via profit-sharing
With enough money raised to create a solid website and thus a foundation for a network of empowered professionals, we can begin to engage evolutionary forms of economy and relationships.

Why SCTO Needs Your Help
Creating a website that looks and works like SCTO is not simple, nor cheap. Most quotes we have received have ranged form $2,000 to $10,000.
We are looking to raise at least $2800 to help fund the SCTO website and network.
If we do not reach our goal of $2800, the money will still be spent on the website, but obviously will not be finished as soon as any of us would like, and perhaps without the quality hoped for.
